Format of Data Visualization Product
Is the product intended to be a singular image or can it be a combination of multiple images that as a whole support the decision making for the topic?

Hi Fabrice,
This product does not have to be a singular (or static) image. It is up to those working on the project to determine what type of data visualization they conclude to be a good fit for the data. For example, this can be a dynamic graphic that displays how data is changing over time (e.g. http://code.google.com/apis/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/motionchart.html) or a GIS interface which updates its display based on the state that you select (e.g. http://arra-gis.dot.gov/#). The submission simply needs to be uploaded in a way that the judges can examine its usefulness; be it via a website the tool is hosted on or a series of images that shows how it works/displays the data. I hope this answers your question.
